I am absolutely thrilled to share that I’ve been invited back to exhibit at the Saatchi Gallery! Yes, really! The exhibition, titled Flowers - Flora In Contemporary Art & Culture, will showcase an incredible variety of works and I couldn’t be prouder to be a part of it. What a fabulous way to kick off the year!
Dates: 12 February to 5 May 2025
Location: Saatchi Gallery, London
FLOWERS – FLORA IN CONTEMPORARY ART & CULTURE reveals the myriad ways that flowers continue to be depicted by artists and their omnipresence within our contemporary culture. Open at Saatchi Gallery from 12 February to 5 May 2025, the exhibition features large-scale installations, original art, photography, fashion, archival objects and graphic design across two floors and nine major gallery spaces.
Pop it in your diary and you can find all the details here.
NOVEMBER SQUARES - THE WRITE-UP
I have finally had a chance to reflect on our jam-packed month of November Squares, and what a joyous whirlwind it was! Every day, a new creative prompt encouraged people far and wide to pick up their Sketch Squares and dive into some playful art-making.
I’ve been blown away by how many of you joined in, from all corners of the globe! I know some of you have saved the posts to tackle the prompts in your own time, so I’ve put everything together in one handy spot: prompts, links to videos, the lot. If you are starting in January, you can find it all here.
MIDDLE TEMPLE - EXHIBITION AT GARDEN ROOM
A quick nudge for those in London! The Garden Room at Middle Temple will reopen on 6th January. My work will continue to be on display there until mid-March. It’s open Monday to Friday, 8 am–8 pm, so do pop in if you’re nearby! More details of the exhibition can be found here.
PAINTINGS AND LIMITED EDITION PRINTS
I have some original paintings from my latest collection and, of course, some of my limited edition prints available. You can have a browse in my shop or if you would like to try a painting in your home or discuss a payment plan, feel free to contact me: faye@fayebridgwater.com.
A PEEK AT 2025
Oh, how I love this in-between time after Christmas – perfect for plotting, dreaming, and looking ahead. Being an artist is always full of surprises and you never know what is around the corner, but here’s a little outline of what’s planned so far:
Jan–March: Middle Temple Garden Room, London
Feb–May: Saatchi Gallery – Flowers - Flora in Contemporary Art and Culture
May: Artists Open Houses – I’ll be opening my home and studio for the first four weekends. May is Brighton at its best, with the Brighton Festival, Brighton Fringe, The Great Escape, and, of course, the Open Houses.
Sept/Oct: Perhaps a little exhibition or an art fair – TBC!
November: Yes, yes, YES – November Squares will be back by popular demand!
December: I’m dreaming of a pop-up gallery in Brighton for a couple of weeks. If you know of a space that might work, please let me know.
That should keep me busy, don’t you think?
A BIG THANK YOU
Before I sign off, I just want to say the hugest THANK YOU for all your love and encouragement in 2024. It’s been an uplifting, creative, and joy-filled year, and I couldn’t have done it without you. Here’s to keeping up the momentum and having even more fun in 2025.
Wishing you a super start to the year!
